Looking Up by Paramore

Things are looking up, oh, finally
I thought I'd never see the day when you smile at me
We always pull through, oh, when we try
I'm always wrong but you're never right
Oh, you're never right

Honestly, can you believe we crossed
The world while it's asleep?
I'd never trade it in 'cause I've always wanted this
And it's not a dream anymore, no, oh, oh, oh
It's not a dream anymore, it's worth fighting for

Could have given up so easily
I was a few cheap shots away from the end of me
Taken for granted, 'most everything
That I would have died for just yesterday, just yesterday

Honestly, can you believe we crossed
The world while it's asleep?
I'd never trade it in 'cause I've always wanted this
And it's not a dream anymore, no, oh, oh, oh
It's not a dream anymore, it's worth fighting for

God knows the world doesn't need another band
Whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh
But what a waste it would've been
Whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh

I can't believe we almost have give up
Whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh
We're just getting started
Whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh

Honestly, can you believe we crossed
The world while it's asleep?
I'd never trade it in 'cause I've always wanted this
And it's not a dream anymore, no, oh, oh, oh
It's not a dream anymore, no, oh
It's not a dream anymore, no, oh, oh, oh
It's not a dream anymore, it's worth fighting for

I can't believe we almost have give up
Whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh
We're just getting started
Whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh

I can't believe we almost have give up
Whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh
We're just getting started, we're just getting started

My Favorite Song "Here I Am" by Jasmine Richards

They tell you a good girl is quiet
That you should never ask why
Cause it only makes it harder to fit in
You should be happy, excited
Even if you're just invited
Cause the winners need someone to clap for them

It's so hard just waiting
In a line that never moves
It's time you started making
Your own rules

You gotta scream until there's nothing left
With your last breath
So here I am
Here I am
Make em listen
Cause there is no way you'll be ignored
Not anymore
So here I am
Here I am
Here I am
Here I am

You only get one life to work it
So who cares if it's not perfect
I say it's close enough to perfect for me
Why should you hide from the thunder
And the lightening that your under
Cause there ain't nobody else you want to be

If how your living isn't working
There's one thing that will help
You gotta finally just stop searching
To find yourself

You gotta scream until there's nothing left
With your last breath
So here I am
Here I am
Make em listen
Cause there is no way you'll be ignored
Not anymore
So here I am
Here I am
Here I am

The world better make some room
Yea move over, over
Cause your coming through
Cause your coming through

You gotta scream until there's nothing left
With your last breath
Here I am
Here I am
Make em listen
Cause there is no way you'll be ignored
Not anymore
So here I am
Here I am
Here I am
Here I am
Here I am

"SICK WITH LOVE"

Love, what can I say?
Its there for you everyday.
It passes you by
one step at a time.
It showers you with lust,
then turns you to dust.
It makes you feel like you wanna fly,
but then it drops right out of the sky.

Love, what can I say?
It feels so great,
but then it feels you with hate.
It brings you up and then drops you
down flat on the ground.

Love, what can I say?
People say its all about fate
but what they don't know is that
fate doesn't decide who you love.
Its all about the ups and the downs,
the around and around, the backs
and forwards, but most of all its all
about the one who is there for you
through thick and thin.
Then you know they will be it.

Love, what can I say?
We just have to find the
right way.

"Get Me Out of Here"

“Get me out of here” shouted Rachael as she awoke to find herself locked in a white padded room. She yelled and banged on every wall, but no one came. She started to pace back and forth, trying to figure out how she got there. She was so confused and she couldn’t figure it out . She laid down on her white cot like bed and looked up at the white padded ceiling contemplating what she was going to do to get out of there. Her eyes began to shut and she soon was sound asleep.
“BOOM BOOM” someone banged on the door. She woke up and looked at the door a nurse came in holding a tray with mini cups. “time for your morning medicine “said the nurse. “wh…..what medicine?” Rachael said questioningly. “The ones you take every morning Rachael” the nurse said
“What are you talking about? every morning? I don’t take pills, I don’t know why I’m here, or how even got here.” Rachael said confused “Rachael are you feeling okay?” the nurse asked concerned. “how do you even know my name? I have no idea who you are and there isn’t anything wrong with me.” she said angrily. “Rachael don’t you remember how you got here?” the nurse asked “No! not at all. All I remember is that I go to Beverley Hills high and I’m a 16 year old cheerleader” Rachael shouted “Its ok Rachael I’ll go get Dr. Taylor.” said the nurse as she left the room. The nurse had no idea she left the door wide open and Rachael seen this as a way to escape, so she dashed for the door.

The nurse whose name is Denise went to Dr. Taylor’s office and knocked on the door. “Come in” shouted a voice from the other side of the door. “Oh, Hello nurse Denise what can I do for you today” Dr. Taylor said happily. “ummm Dr. Taylor one of the uhhh girl patients are questioning about how they got here.” nurse Denise said timidly. “Well tell her what you tell all the other patients who ask how they got here.” Dr. Taylor said agitated “She’s different then the rest of the patients Dr. Taylor” said Denise. “DENISE JUST DO WHAT I TELL YOU OK I DON’T PAY YOU TO THINK I PAY YOU TO DO YOUR JOB.” yelled Dr. Taylor. Denise left the room with no questions asked and headed back to Rachael’s room.

Rachael was almost down the hallway when she bumped into a boy. He had sandy brown hair and hazel colored eyes. He was tall and cute. “oh, my bad” she said shyly “oh, no problem.” he said laughing. “I’m Rachael and you?” asked Rachael. “I’m William and why are you in such a rush?” William asked. “I’m trying to figure out where I am and why I’m here.” Rachael said “It’s ok Rachael we are all trying to figure that out.” William said suspenseful. “What are you talking about all? Who are you? what is happening? Rachael said. After that William disappeared and Rachael felt a heavy cold breath on the back of her neck. She turned around to find that it was nurse Denise with a huge needle that had liquid squirting out the tip. Nurse Denise stab her with the needle and she passed out.
